Founded in 1982, the Beck Law Office has consistently expanded as a result of our dedicated efforts to help our clients face the system and win. Today, we are Beck, Amsden & Stalpes pllc with six trial lawyers, a dedicated research attorney and top-notch paralegals and support staff dedicated to helping our clients achieve compensation for physical and financial injuries.

We have gained a reputation for handling highly visible, tough cases that have resulted in better treatment for individuals under the law:

We restored millions of dollars in retirement benefits for hundreds of Montana retirees whose employer had wrongfully used their pension money for its own benefit.

We effected change in statewide hospital practices after an emergency room’s failure to give a $25 vaccination left a fifteen-year old boy dead.

We have forced corporate polluters of Montana property to compensate landowners for their losses through environmental litigation.

On behalf of Vann’s Inc. and its employee shareholders, we obtained a settlement of $15.5 million (less certain defense fees paid by insurance carriers) against former officers and directors of Vann’s Inc. who had used Vann’s Inc. resources to build properties which were then transferred to the officers and directors and leased back to Vann’s Inc. at above market rents. This $15.5 million recovery, after our attorneys’ fees and costs, resulted in payment of 100% of the employee shareholder retirement accounts and 75% of the claims of unsecured creditors, including Vann’s Inc. commercial lenders.
