Sydney graduated with High Honors from the University of Montana’s law school in 2019.  During school, she served as Articles Editor on the Montana Law Review and worked as the teaching assistant for Evidence classes. Sydney was a clinical student in United States Magistrate Judge Jeremiah Lynch’s chambers and served as an intern for Montana District Court Judge Amy Eddy on the Montana Asbestos Claims Court.  After law school, Sydney clerked for two years for United States District Court Judge Dana L. Christensen.

Sydney grew up on a small ranch south of Great Falls. She graduated from CMR High School before attending Willamette University, where she majored in International Studies and Spanish and graduated cum laude.
